One Waterloo
London
Working alongside architects, AHMM, we have been appointed to undertake all landscape architectural services for the redevelopment of One Waterloo FKA Elizabeth House.
The proposal focuses on the creation of a local destination; place making which aims to cater for the diversity of the visitor/commuter/and local resident. By creating a progressive and dynamic public realm, the scheme aims to enhance the experience of using and working within the building by allowing the opportunity for extended working and socialisation within a green and verdant setting.
The public realm concept for One Waterloo draws inspiration from key pioneering species found in nature, both in terms of how they move, build their homes, socialise and colonise. From the ground plane upward through the building, the form language, movement and patterns respond to different patterns associated with these key species.
