We are working with Hilcrest Homes on the redevelopment of an existing private school into residential accommodation. The proposal includes the conservation of various listed buildings on the site, as well as the development of new homes within the school grounds.

New development flanks either side of a large area of open space to allow unabridged views towards the retained and converted school and library buildings. A tonal range of materials borrowed from the existing palette provides visual integration within the site and wider townscape setting. The vast majority of existing trees are retained to protect the mature landscape setting and filter views of the development from its surroundings. Stormwater events and surface water are managed by an integrated SuDS proposal including rain gardens, permeable paving and swales.
