Remembering Marcus
On Sunday the 10th October we lost a colleague and a friend, Marcus Fisher. Marcus collapsed while finishing the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London on Sunday afternoon whilst running to raise money for Prostate Cancer. Marcus had taken part in other such runs and had recently completed the Hackney Half Marathon in an impressive 1h 44m.
Marcus was a warm and generous person who was a pleasure to spend time with and we were blessed to be able to call him a colleague. He was a talented and inquisitive Senior Landscape Architect looking to further his career within the industry and was on the pathway to chartership with the Landscape Institute. His passing leaves a huge hole behind for us all, not only his colleagues but also clients and fellow consultants who were lucky enough to work with him.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
