The installation of the Toolkit will create an identifiable and recognisable character to a collection of space so supporting and underpinning the Low_Line vision into reality.
The Low Line
Southwark, London
The Low_Line Assembly Toolkit was developed as a kitset of items and parts that can be distributed across parts of the Low_Line. The 5 main goals of the Low_Line (The BIG 5) set the guiding principles and embody the vision and aspiration of how the Toolkit is implemented.
The Toolkit is not just a collection of items, but a combination of elements that aspire to enable local people, communities and businesses to make a significant difference to their local Low_Line environments.
The Toolkit has been refined from the Stage 1 Submission to identify 4 types of tools being Ecological, Activation, Opportunistic and Infrastructure. The first two type represent the items that will form the ‘Base Build’ of any site. These elements require selection of the Toolkit’s ‘Components’ to best represent the approach to any site.
