The aim of this project was to create a landscape that belongs to its time, place and community. The Courtyards development provided a unique opportunity to enhance the public realm environment in this part of Camden.
As part of the regeneration of the wider area, the project worked to acknowledge the social and environmental needs of a new community, whilst celebrating the areas heritage. To ensure the scheme was successfully integrated into its context, improvements were made to the local streetscape by providing easy, safe pedestrian access to the site, as well as producing high quality private and semi-private amenity space for the new residents.
